As I sit here in front of my keyboard I am saddened by the lack of comments from the hundreds of readers who have visited this tiny blog. No doubt at times I consider taking a hammer to my computer and letting it face the wrath, yet I see now that such would be a foolish waste.
Instead I look forward to the 12 gauge slugs that are so pretty in red. A wood grain pump action mossberg truly is a thing of beauty. That unmistakable metallic double click as the round is chambered. Now that is how it should be.
Yes,that will work perfect……
Except there is always that razor sharp katana I ordered several years ago from that online supplier. The sweet thud it made last year as I tested it for the first time on a ripe watermelon. If ever there was a feeling of power, that was it. Grasping the ribbon decorated haft in my two hands, sliding it with a muted but deadly ’snick’ from it’s sheathe. Poised above my hapless computer like a samurai ready to strike an opponent with all the force and truth of Bushido!
No doubt that is the best way to finish this…..
Now that I think of it,my uncle is in the army. He has been known to be assigned to a tank division……
And it was then that I woke up from my nap. My hands shaking but my mind clear as it has ever been.
Was I holding on just a little too tight? I do love my blog, but it is not all about having people read it,it is about the joys of writing. Let those who will pass by and those who want read it. The only acceptance sought is from within.
May the next eyes upon this text have a great day and remember that it is not anyone but yourself that must be satisfied with what you have achieved.Set your expectations high, but let them be your own.
